Copes Readymix is a company registered in England, Company Number 6835495. Registered office Moody Lane, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 2SY.

Our Readymix Concrete is supplied to British Standard BS 8500 and EN 206-1. We supply our products to trade and the general public.

Contracts

Consumer – i.e. Private Individual or Trader (Non Account). All orders received, which is placed by a consumer must be paid for before delivery either by cash or credit/debit card.

Contract – i.e. Prices are quoted by site location and description of mix design. Orders placed by contract price will adhere to our terms of trading – 30 days nettall prices quotes on the contract are plus VAT at the current rate.

The contract price may be increased at any time by Copes Readmix, giving the contract customer one months notice.

Period of the contract is shown on the quotation contract.

Copes Readymix can withdraw the contract quotation at any time by giving written notice.

Cancellations

Copes Readymix can withdraw the contract quotation at any time by giving written notice.

Any customer wishing to cancel their order must give 24 hours notice. Confirmation must by either by phone or email to bookings@copesreadymix.co.uk

Delivery terms

Extra charges will be made for waiting time over and above the allocated time based on the quantity of readmix ordered, as stated on the delivery ticket.

Readymix that is requested to be delivered to be delivered to more than one location/site will occur extra charges. This request much be made clear on the initial order process.

Any additional costs incurred must be paid for by credit/debit card.

Prior to two hours before delivery, once materials have been loaded/batched, the order may not be cancelled and must be paid for either by the contractor or the customer.

A delivery ticket will be produced and accompany the load to site for signature.

When delivering off the public highway, it is possible that damage can occur. If you wish our vehicle to proceed off the public highway then it must be clearly understood that it is your request and your responsibility for any damage caused.

Copes Readymix Ltd accept no liability for damage claims whatsoever for vehicles delivering off the public highway.

Placing an order

Any orders placed as “provisional” will be accepted until such a time we have a confirmed order to take that place. The customer will then be offered another time and date to suit both parties.

By placing an order, you are confirming you have permission of the owner to have our products delivered to the address given on the initial order.

We will not be held responsible for any failure to perform under a contract that is caused by any event which is beyond our control.

Any orders placed as a ‘top up order’ or the customer has not ordered enough material, we will charge as a new order and priced accordingly.
